Meet our founder and medical director, Dr. Mark Deutsch. 

Dr. Deutsch began his career in medicine at the University of South Florida Medical School in Tampa. He then went on to a residency in general surgery at Louisiana State University Medical Center/Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then a fellowship in plastic surgery at New York City’s Einstein/Montefiore College of Medicine. In addition, he completed a second fellowship specializing in breast, head, and neck cancer reconstruction and microvascular surgery at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. After completing his extensive medical training, he practiced at Atlanta Plastic Surgery for several years before he established Perimeter Plastic Surgery.


Dr. Deutsch is double board certified by the American Board of General Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has also been recognized as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, meaning his education, training, qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have been evaluated by other professionals and found to meet rigorous standards. 


During his time at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Deutsch received specialized training in breast reconstruction procedures. He is one of the only surgeons in and around Peachtree City who can perform a DIEP flap procedure for breast reconstruction.


Dr. Deutsch performs a wide range of plastic and reconstructive procedures with a skilled hand. However, what his patients respond most strongly to is his compassion and commitment to excellence. Dr. Deutsch does not believe that plastic surgery is a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, he takes the time to get to know every single patient and their unique concern and desires so he can tailor a custom treatment plan just for them.
