Patient 1: 44 y/o female underwent bilateral mastectomies for right breast cancer with a prophylactic left mastectomy. She wore a 38C cup and wanted to stay the same size. She was 5’8, 180 lbs. and had 2 previous c-sections. She had reconstruction with DIEP flaps and pictures were taken 1 year after surgery.

Patient 2: 42 year old female was diagnosed with breast carcinoma and was scheduled for bilateral mastectomies. She was felt to be a good candidate for breast reconstruction and underwent bilateral DIEP flaps. She was pleased with her outcome and pictures were taken 3 1/2 years after surgery.
