Dr. Mark F. Deutsch, MD, FACS: 29 Years of Plastic Surgery Expertise
Atlanta Plastic Surgeon Dr. Mark Franklin Deutsch is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of General Surgery. He performs a wide variety of plastic surgery and reconstructive procedures. He has 34 years of a rare combination of medical experience, knowledge, technical skill, compassion, and commitment to excellence, resulting in a world-class physician.
Dr. Deutsch graduated from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine in 1989. He then completed his general surgery residency 1994 at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. After finishing his plastic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1996, he completed a fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1997. He trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at MD Anderson, where he trained in specialized reconstructive surgeries for breast, head, and neck cancer and microvascular surgery (surgery requiring an operating microscope).

With a great deal of education under his belt, Dr. Deutsch joined the Atlanta Plastic Surgery practice. He worked there for several years, gaining a wealth of experience, before establishing his own private practice, Perimeter Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Deutsch is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), an honor and distinction shared by only a select group of plastic and reconstructive surgeons. The American College of Surgeons refers to its members as “fellows.” Fellow of the American College of Surgeons means that the surgeon’s education, training, qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed rigorous evaluations.
