DIEP
All of Dr. Deutsch’s patients have provided their consent to display their pictures online.
Patient 1: 29 y/o female had bilateral mastectomies for carcinoma of her breast. She was BRCA positive and underwent chemotherapy prior to her mastectomies. She wore a 34C bra. She underwent immediate bilateral reconstruction with a DIEP flap for her right breast and a muscle sparing free TRAM flap for her left breast. The pictures shown are one year after her reconstruction surgery.
Patient 2: This patient had a previous bilateral mastectomy and had delayed reconstruction with bilateral DIEP flaps.
Patient 3: 59 y/o female had previous bilateral mastectomies with no reconstruction. She was a good candidate for delayed reconstruction and had a DIEP flap on the left breast and a muscle sparing free TRAM flap on the right breast.
